Urad maida dosa with rice flour and rava
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup urad dal
1 cup maida
1/4 cup rice flour
1/4 cup chiroti rava / fine semolina
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking dosa
Cutney for serving
PROCEDURE:
- Soak urad dal in ater for 3 to 4 hrs, wash well and grind into a smooth paste
- Keep covered for fermentaton for 8 hrs or overnight
- Next day in a bowl mix maida, rice flour, rava with water and make a smooth batter without any lumps
- Mix this with fermented urad dal paste, and keep covered for 15 mins
- Heat tava and make thin dosas adding ghee or oil
- Cook dosa both the sides and serve hot with chutney or sambar
