Sweet and Sour Vegetable Soup
INGREDIENTS:
1 finely chopped carrot
1/2 zuchchini chopped
10 french beans chopped
1/4 cup shredded cabbage
5 sliced button mushrooms
5 tsp oil
5 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp chilli sauce
1/2 tsp pepper pdr
1/2 tsp vinegar
2-3 tsp tomato ketchup
Salt to tatse
3 cups water
2 tsp corn flour mixed with 1/4 cup water
PROCEDURE:
- Heat oil in a kadai, add chopped garlic and fry till they turn light brown
- Add chopped carrot and beans with little salt and cook with a lid covered
- Once it is half done add zuchchini, cabbage, mushrooms and saute for 5 mins
- Add water, soya sauce, vinegar,ketchup, chilli sauce. Let it boil for 5 mins.
- Now add pepper pdr and corn flour slurry and stir continuously till it becomes thick
- Check for salt and turn off the flame
- Serve hot with deep fried noodles .
