Methi Papdi
INGREDIENTS;
1 cup wheat flour / gehun ka atta
1/4 cup besan / chick pea flour
1/4 cup maida / all purpose flour
1 tsp ajwain / carom seeds
2 tsp kasuri methi
2 tsp red chilli flakes
2 tblsp oil + oil for deep frying
PROCEDURE:
- Take wheat flour, besan, maida ,salt, ajwain ,kasuri methi, red chilli flakes in a broad bowl and mix well
- Add 2 tblsp oil and mix
- Now add water and make a stiff dough and knead well
- Keep covered it for 20 mins
- Devide the dough into portions and make small balls as you make for pooris
- Roll each ball into a thin poori and cut into triangles
- Heaat oil and deep fry on a medium flame till they turn brown and crispy
- Put them on a tissue paper and let it cool
- Once they comes to room temperature store in an airtight container .
- Enjoy with hot cup of tea or coffee.
