Garlic Bread

For the dough:
1/3 cup warm milk
1 tsp dry yeast/ any yeast
1 tsp sugar
Pinch of salt
3 cloves finely chopped garlic
3/4 tsp oregano
1 tsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup plain flour/maida/all purpose flour
2 tsp oil

For garlic butter:
1/4 cup butter, melted
3 cloves finely chopped garlic
2 tblsp coriander leaves finely chopped

Other ingredients:
3 tblsp plain flour/ maida/ all purpose flour
1/4 cup mozarella cheese/ or any  other cheeseof your choice
2 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp mixed herbs


  • In a large mixing bowl take warm milk,dry yeast and sugar. Mix well and rest for 5 mins.
  • Furthermore,add pinch of salt.garlic and oregano.
  • Additionally add butter,maida and start to knead the dough
  • Furter coat the dough with oil, cover and rest for two hours
  • After two hours punch the dough.
  • In a small bowl mix in butter, chopped garlic and coriander leaves
  • Spread the prepared garlic butter over the dough generously.
  • Furter top the half of the dough with mozarella cheese and season with oregano and chilli flakes
  • Fold the dough into half and seal the edges
  • Brush the top of bread with generous amount of prepared garlic butter and also top it with chilli flakes and oregano
  • Make marks over the bread with a knife without cutting it fully
  • Transfer it on a greased baking tray . Bke in preheated ovenat 180 degree celsius for 15-20 mins
  • Cut the garlic bread once it is baked. Serve hot .
